With The Economy of couple, Losing your reason, Free student, Nue Propriété, Les chevaliers blancs and now The Restless, I have always tried to bring emotion, complexity through the actors and the way they can 'incarnate' without Manichaeism .Issues, conflicts and their resolutions are my focus; most of my directing research tends towards this description of human complexity. The camera is always at face level, I never want to look with superiority or slander. The staging always remains sober and focused on the right composition of the roles. With The Restless, I continue this form of cinema.
