We are pleased to announce the theatrical release on March 26, 2025, of the film Soft Leaves, directed by Miwako Van Weyenberg.
SOFT LEAVES immerses us in the world of 11-year-old Yuna, played by Lill Berteloot (her screen debut). Yuna lives with her father, Julien (Geert Van Rampelberg), a high jump coach with whom she gets along well. When Julien suffers a bad fall and is hospitalized, Yuna finds herself alone with her older brother, Kai. Their little world is shattered when their mother, accompanied by their stepsister, arrives from Japan to care for them.
With this highly personal debut film, director Miwako van Weyenberg offers us an intimate portrait of a young girl searching for identity and recognition.
